The ARD organized a series of vocational and entrepreneurial training programs as part of the "Tazeez" project in Nineveh Governorate. The initiative was implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs – Vocational Training Department, and funded by the GCERF. These training sessions covered vehicle maintenance, solar panel maintenance, professional photography and video editing, employment skills, and business project management.A total of 90 trainees from diverse communities across Nineveh, including Bashiqa, Rashidiya, and Mosul city center, participated in the program. Both genders were represented, and the training took place over a 10-day period at the Vocational Training Directorate in Mosul. Promoting the role of media actors in advocating for rehabilitation and integration paves a distinctive path toward achieving peace and societal resilience. In this context, the ARD in collaboration with Soqya Foundation, organized a specialized training titled "The Psychology of Rehabilitation and Integration from a Media Perspective." The training targeted an elite group of journalists, media influencers, and activists in Anbar Province.

From the depths of old Mosul, where every stone bears the scars of war, stands Sara, tall and proud, a symbol of resilience and determination. Sarra returned with her husband and four children to their destroyed home, carrying with her the pains of the past and the dreams of the future. The war had turned her life into a nightmare, forcing her displacement to the Hammam al-Alil camp, leaving behind everything she knew.
But Sarra did not surrender. After returning to her war-torn home, she decided not to succumb to despair. She received an opportunity to rebuild her house from an organization, and Sara began a new journey.

Hiyam, a forty-year-old mother of seven, from Shirqat District faced harsh circumstances after finding herself alone in a world filled with challenges. Despite lacking any professional skills, her determination and perseverance allowed her to craft an extraordinary success story against all odds. Migration and a Tough Start
Her journey began in 2018, when she was forced to flee Mosul to Syria with her young children. The journey was fraught with obstacles and ended with their arrival at Al-Hol Camp. With no work experience, she desperately needed a source of income to support her family. She started working alongside her eight-year-old son, selling vegetables in the camp for a trader. They received no wages but relied on leftover produce such as tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. This arrangement lasted for two years. Recalling those days, Hiyam said:
"That small stall was my safety net—it was our only source of income to feed my children."

As part of the professional capacity building program for accelerated education and literacy teachers in Nineveh Governorate , the ARD in partnership with Alphabet Human Resources Development and Events Management Company, in coordination with the Executive Agency for Literacy and Accelerated Implementation and with funding from GIZ, held a ceremony to honor and distribute certificates to literacy teachers and accelerated education schools in Nineveh Governorate on Monday, November 11, 2024 at the White House Hall in the city of Mosul.The ceremony began with welcoming the attendees, followed by a recitation of the Holy Quran, the playing of the Iraqi national anthem, a series of speeches and official speeches by the ARD, GIZ and the head of the Executive Agency for Literacy, and then the distribution of certificates to the participants.
